Meet Scott Allen McQuiston, DDS, FAGD
Dr. McQuiston has called Northern Virginia home since 1994 when he first began private practice. Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the esteemed program at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in Richmond. He followed his DDS degree with a general dentistry residency in Rochester, NY, at the University of Rochester’s Genesee Hospital. A committed and enthusiastic lifelong learner, Dr. McQuiston has pursued study/training at NOVA Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. McQuiston enjoys his role in improving the lives of his patients. He prides himself on the relationship he builds with each patient and wants to make sure each patient has the best experience possible.
Dr. McQuiston is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Virginia Dental Association (VDA), and the Academy of Osseointegration (AO). He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), where he has earned the status of Fellow, a distinction awarded only to those clinicians who pass a rigorous exam and meet a threshold of 800 hours of continuing education. Dr. McQuiston has a passion for keeping current on the latest dental technology, including the use of CEREC and 3-D imaging to create dental restorations, place dental implants, and add precision to other treatments.
Dr. McQuiston is an avid fan of fine arts and a talented artist in his own right, which has impacted his dentistry significantly. Providing his patients with full mouth rehabilitative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry services, Dr. McQuiston meets clinical challenges with artistic skill.
